Covenant Youth Camp Staff Important Information

At CYC we have opportunities for adults to serve as staff members during our High School and Pre-Teen camps. With over 30 years of experience in running youth camps the following is in place for the safety of your youth, and for the integrity of our organization. All parents are encouraged to register and serve during the camp. Discipleship happens with the older helping train the younger. Please read below the policies, procedures, and requirements for being a staff at our camp.

What staff opportunities are there?

Senior Camp-

For our senior camp all adults 19 and older can be staff.

Pre-teen Camp-

For our pre-teen camp teens 15-17 can be staff in training, and all adults 18 and older can be staff.

What is the Cost to be staff?

Senior Camp-

Staff Ages: 19 and up (REQUIRES APPROVAL TO REGISTER email: info@covenantyouthcamp.com)
Total Cost: $175

Pre-teen Camp-

Jr. Staff: 15-17 (REQUIRES APPROVAL TO REGISTER email: info@covenantyouthcamp.com.)
Total Cost: $125

Staff Ages: 18 and up (REQUIRES APPROVAL TO REGISTER email: info@covenantyouthcamp.com)
Total Cost: $125

How do I signup as staff?

  1. Send an email to info@covenantyouthcamp.com asking to be adult staff

  2. You will receive and email from Cam and Sarah to setup a zoom interview

  3. After the zoom interview if they still feel it is a good fit you will receive the link to register as staff

  4. All staff by registering acknowledge they can/will be background checked prior to the camp

  5. All staff by registering acknowledge they have read HFF’s children/youth ministry policy guide and are willing/required to uphold that standard while at camp.

  6. Prior to the camp you will receive the spiritual lesson plans and a link to a group zoom call to go over the rules, schedule, and lesson plans for the camp

  7. On the check in day for the camp you will need to be early for the in-person staff prayer and operational meeting prior to opening registration for campers.
